This mall is one of the oldest pick up places for call boys and students desperate for some allowances. But be warned, this could also be one of the dangerous too. Usually the professional call boys hang out on the top floor (5th floor) where the movie theaters are and they wander back and forth down the escalators in search of prey. You can find them against the railings pretending to be waiting for someone or just watching passerbys. You can also find them at Tom's World. The old gay men like to hang out in the 5th floor karaoke where there are cheap food carts available for them to feed their jowas or just listen to some of the crazy characters singing their favorite tunes.

There are many professional call boys in Isetann. Some are already dinosaurs thinking that they are still highly attractive.  Its funny because they still try to act like they are in their teens when they are already in their late 30s, 40s and even 50s. Some are real lookers but most are just arrogant, trying hard artista wannabees.

Now the important part so you will not get scammed.

There are so many stories of gays picking up guys in Isetann. From being held up in your hotel room, from jacking up the agreed price, etc. etc. that will lead to no less public scandal.

Here are some tips on how to pick up a guy in Isetann.

1.  Never go out with guy who approaches you and says "gimmick ta". This guy is most likely to be a holdupper. He will first tell you 500 then after a while he will lower his price to 300. After you have checked in and had sex, that 300 will turn to 3,000 if you are lucky. Some will demand from 10,000 to 20,000 especially to the closeted gays in which the call boy will do his best and make a public scandal in the hotel room calling people who you think are police and barangay tanods but in truth are in cohorts with the call boy. The callboy will get your smartphone and accompany you to an atm until you produce the money. So, please beware.

2. If you have a feeling the guy is just a regular student or nice guy who does not have money, bring him first to the internet cafe located in the 5th floor and ask him to open his facebook so you can have an idea what kind of life he lives. If he seems legitimate, then friend request him in fb, so at least you will know his friends and family and just in case anything bad happens, you can private message to all his friends what kind of person he is.

3. If you feel like being a nice guy and treating him out for food, first ask him where does he want to eat. If he wants to eat in an upscale fast food joint and he orders a lot, this guy is just taking advantage of you. Don't trust him. Go for the guys who are humble and show humility by choosing a place that is really affordable and budget friendly, like the food cards in the 5th floor. This guy is real and does not want to take advantage of your generosity.

4. When you negotiate ask him what he needs the money for and how much does he really need. You can already get a feeling how much he will try to coerce you in giving him.

5. Make him sign a contract. This might seem foolish but it will help just in case he throws a fit and tries to call his friends. The contract can be simple like. we agree on the price of Pxxx for services rendered with both your signatures on the bottom of the paper.

6. Warning. Many times you will meet a call boy who has gained your trust and loyalty. At first when you gimmicked he was very nice and agreed to the contract price and you agree to meet up with him again. This time you might bring your nice camera phone or let him carry your backpack with your laptop.  DO NOT TRUST HIM. For many callboys, this is their modus operandi. To gain your trust and confidence and when opportunity strikes, his evil instincts will kick in and  you will lose a lot.
